Bodie is a ghost town left over from the early gold mining days. It is on the east slope of the Sierra Nevadas in California and is ~9000' above sea level. I was working near Mammoth Lakes, Ca. so took an opprotunity to visit and photograph it. These are poor scans from some 30 year old negatives.
This Gallery is now a mixture of photos taken October 2014 with a hi-rez digital camera and old scans from 35mm negatives taken on my previous visit back in the 90's. It is great to see very little change in the past 20+ years. Kudos to California's Park Service for preserving this heritage.
